One aspect of exercise that often gets swept under the rug is recovery and regeneration.
Many trainers and coaches subscribe to the notion that if you aren't going all out on every workout then it's just not worth it.
But to make gains, your body has to recover and regenerate.
That's where myofascial release (i.e. massage) comes in.
