20 Minute Full Body HIIT Workout

Alexa Boyce, Certified Health Coach at Total Health Chiropractic in Lansing, Michigan, shows you a 20 minute high intensity interval workout that you can do at home…or outdoors.
The reps scheme is as follows:
Beginner – 20 seconds work, 40 seconds rest
Intermediate – 30 seconds work, 30 seconds rest
Advanced – 40 seconds work, 10 seconds rest
You’re going to go through 5 exercises and repeat that 3 more times.
You can modify or scale these exercises as needed. Keep in mind, when you’re doing high intensity interval training, you want to go 100% and give your max effort. But, we also want to prevent injuries so choose the level that’ll work best for you and challenge you.
Here are the exercises:
1. Surfboards (or Squat with 180 degree turn)
2. Split Lunges
3. Plank Thruster
4. Plank w/ Shoulder Tap + Butt Kick
