Last weekend I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts called The School of Greatness hosted by Lewis Howes. This is the description of the podcast:
"Lewis Howes is an author, Lifestyle Entrepreneur, and former pro athlete. The goal of the School of Greatness is to share inspiring stories from the most brilliant business minds, world class athletes and influential celebrities on the planet; to help you find out what makes great people great."
In this particular episode, Lewis was interviewing a medical doctor, Dr. Lissa Rankin. This interview resonated with me because of its topic.
Dr. Rankin told her story about how she healed herself from various diseases, without drugs or surgery!
I'm not going to get into the episode but if you want to listen to it, you can click here: http://lewishowes.com/podcast/lissa-rankin-healing-yourself-mind-over-medicine/
What struck me was in Lewis' introduction of Dr. Rankin.
All too often people who believe that the body CAN HEAL ITSELF as long as we eliminate or limit the the interference to that healing ability, QUALIFY this belief so as not to look like they're crazy for believing that.
This is the perception I got from Lewis, who actually does believe in the healing ability of the human body. As does Dr. Rankin.
As do I.
I'm guilty of defending or qualifying this belief myself at times.
But, do I REALLY need to qualify this belief so you don't think I'm nuts?
And, is this actually a belief...or is it a FACT?
