The Little Activity That ZAPS your ENERGY (Every Day)!!

Every day I see people walking, sitting, or standing doing an activity that’s become much more common over the last 10 years. And this little habit is draining your energy and causing fatigue in your body.

I am talking about how we use our cell phones day after day. If you’re sitting, you usually have it on your lap. If you’re standing, it’s usually at stomach or waist level. This causes a huge amount of stress on your body because the weight of your head is in an energy draining position. For every inch your head is forward from your shoulders adds 10 pounds of weight/stress onto your upper back.
So if you’re head weighs 10 pounds (which is very conservative), and it’s two inches in front of your body (which is very common), that’s an extra 20 pounds your carrying around. And if you add that to the 10 pounds your head actually weighs, that’s 30 pounds you’re body has to deal with every time you are in that position!
Can you see how that will drain your energy and you don’t have any left by the end of the day? Or even my mid day?
So here’s what you do:
When you’re using your cell phone to text or play games (this also applies to any hand held device), rest your upper arms against the side of your ribcage and bend your elbows so your phone is at chest or chin level. Resting your arms will allow you to hold it longer without fatigue and keep it at a level where it’s limiting the forward head posture.
