In the world we live in, chances are you sit waaaay too much during the work day. The scary part is leading a sedentary lifestyle (even if you exercise 30-45 mintues every few days) has been shown to lead to heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and numerous other health and musculoskeletal problems.

If sitting at a computer is part of the territory, here are four more exercises you can do to counteract the effects of sitting on your butt.

Three of them can be done while you are sitting (Cervical Extension Exercise, Angels, and Lat Stretch) but the last one makes you get up and activate the biggest muscles of your body (Split Squat).
